Salary: £34,918 – £42,859 plus contributory pension (placement on this scale is dependent on experience) | Type: Permanent position

Become part of EMEC as an Assistant Project Manager and gain experience across EMEC’s project portfolio, including wave and tidal energy, offshore wind, hydrogen, and energy systems projects, while working towards Project Manager {qualifications}.
In this role, you’ll oversee projects safely, ensuring high-quality outputs while striving to minimize the time, cost, and risk associated with demonstrating low carbon technologies.
You will actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Project & Technical Team, assisting in managing the project lifecycle and engaging with relevant stakeholders to deliver work packages. The position will involve coordinating resources, risk management, communication, and reporting to funders.
Our ideal candidate possesses a diverse educational background with experience in a project management-focused environment. Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential. Familiarity with the maritime environment would be advantageous.
The role may require some domestic and international travel for meetings.
