On 19 March, Shinfox Far East Power announced that the company installed the initial jacket foundation on the 300 MW Taipower Offshore Wind Project Phase II (TPC Changhua Phase II) in Taiwan.

The jacket, exceeding the height of a 20-story structure and weighing more than 10 Boeing 747s, will offer robust support for the wind turbines, Shinfox Far East Power stated. The jackets are being positioned by the crane vessel SFE Hercules, registered under the Panamanian flag.
According to our prior report regarding the project, the wind farm will include Vestas V174-9.5 MW wind turbines.
The 300 MW TPC Offshore Phase II was among the eleven offshore wind initiatives selected by the Taiwanese authorities in April 2018.
Foxwell Power, a subsidiary of Shinfox, secured the contract from Taipower for the construction of the wind farm at a total deal value of TWD 62.88 billion (EUR 2.02 billion) in June 2020.
Situated approximately 14.7 kilometers west of Lukang in Changhua County, the project is expected to produce 1 GWh of energy annually and will generate sufficient renewable electricity to supply around 270,000 households.
