Inch Cape Offshore Ltd., a collaborative venture between ESB and Red Rock Renewables, has granted a contract to Seaway7 for the transportation and installation of pin-pile jacket foundations and transition components for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm.
The 1.1 GW Inch Cape project offshore location is situated in the Scottish North Sea, 15 km from the Angus shoreline, and will consist of 72 wind turbines. Seaway7’s responsibilities encompass the transportation and installation of 18 pin-pile jacket foundations and 54 transition components.
Offshore operations are anticipated to start in 2026.
