Adapture Renewables Inc., a utility-scale solar and energy storage developer, owner, and operator, has finalized its 67 MW Sign Ranch project in Hunt County, Texas.
The solar facility’s corporate offtaker is a Fortune 50 enterprise, according to the company.
Situated within the ERCOT market, the project covers 25 acres and comprises over 130,000 solar panels. It is projected to yield approximately 120 GWh of electricity each year.
The project commenced commercial operations three months ahead of schedule on Adapture Renewables’ inaugural digital PPA, surmounting development obstacles, including supply chain disruptions due to the COVID pandemic, along with Winter Storm Uri, which impacted the region in 2021.
“We are thrilled to witness our latest Texas project achieving this significant milestone,” states Thomas Houghton, CEO of Adapture Renewables. “Completing the project ahead of schedule showcases the dedication of our team and partners and emphasizes our commitment to enhancing renewable energy infrastructure across the country.”
