Call for Participation in Tender Process for Nederwiek Wind Farm Sites II and III
The Dutch Ministry of Climate Policy and Green Growth requests wind farm developers to offer input regarding the preferred tender procedure, as well as perspectives on the business case and market obstacles associated with the forthcoming tenders for the Nederwiek Wind Farm Sites II and III (NW II and III).
The tender process is scheduled for 2026. At present, the Ministry is analyzing the most suitable tender procedure to allocate permits for NW II and III. Engaging with the market as a component of this decision-making process is a legal obligation. This engagement is performed through an external market consultation and a survey aimed at wind farm developers.
The government will review four possible tender processes: Subsidy, Comparative Analysis with Financial Bid, Comparative Analysis without Financial Bid, and Auction.
