The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has invited bids for the development of a new wind power project in Andhra Pradesh. The company has issued a Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for a 45.6 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind power project at Ramagiri in the Sri Sathya Sai district. The project will be developed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model and is identified as Package-2: Wind.

The selected contractor will be responsible for the complete execution of the project. This includes designing, engineering, supplying equipment, constructing the project, erecting wind turbines, testing, commissioning, and maintaining the wind power plant. After the project becomes operational, the successful bidder will also provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of 10 years.

The tender requires the use of horizontal-axis Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) with a minimum capacity of 3 MW each. The turbines must operate at low voltage and 50 Hz. All wind turbine models and manufacturers used in the project must be included in the Approved Models and Manufacturers of Wind Turbines (ALMM-Wind) list issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

SECI has already completed the micro-siting process and identified 16 land parcels for the project. The corporation will also provide land allocation and grid connectivity, reducing development challenges for the selected developer. The project’s point of interconnection has been fixed at the 33 kV Pooling Switchgear Incomer Feeder.

According to the tender conditions, the entire project must be commissioned within 14 months from the date of award. SECI will conduct the bidding process through a single-stage, double-envelope system, followed by an electronic reverse auction.

The bidding documents will be available for download from July 3, 2026, through the Electronic Tender Portal, the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP), and SECI’s official website. Details related to the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) are provided in the complete tender documents. Interested bidders must download the official tender documents using their registered credentials to participate in the bidding process.
